York Beach Beer Company is actually the sister brewery to SOME Brewing mentioned above.  See if you can guess where it is by its name. This place is open year-round even though York Beach can become a ghost town in the winter.  If you’re looking for a quiet place to have a flight, this is probably your scene.

Battery Steele Brewing Kitchen & Bar  is practially right across the street from the Fish Camp.  It’s like a pub crawl. The food here is supposed to be pretty good so if you skipped eating at the Fish Camp, you can get a great meal here.  The beer is what you would expect from Battery Steele, amazing.

Hours: Mon 12:00 – 7:00, Thu-Fri 3:00 – 9:00, Sat 12:00 – 9:00, Sun 12:00 – 8:00

Kennebunk Brewing Company is more commonly known as Federal Jack’s. This is where Shipyard Brewing got its start.  The menu and atmosphere is great here taking in a commanding view of the Kennebunkport harbor.  Your going to want to spend some quality time here sampling the beers, playing a game of pool, or having something to eat (if you haven’t had enough options already today).  Great place.  Great merchandise shop.  When in Kennebunk….

Hours: Mon-Sun 11:00 – 12:30

Moving inland back up onto Route 1, we head on over to  Sebago Brewing Company’s Kennebunk location.  This pub is known for its wood-fired pizza and a complete bar and menu.  I know that these summaries are starting to sound more like restaurant reviews that tasting room descriptions but that is what a lot of tasting rooms have evolved to over the years.  Catering to a broader clientelle and families, the restaurant theme is growing to replace the simple tasting room in a barn. Check it out, it’s very good.

Hours: Sun 12:00 – 7:00, Mon-Thu 11:00 – 9:00, Fri&Sat 11:00 – 10:00
