Sacred Profane Tank Pub. When you get there, ask them to explain what they mean by a “tank pub.”  Supposedly it is the first in all of North America.  Therefore, a must-see.  Known mostly for lagers, it will be good way to start your tour.

Hours: Mon-Fri 3:00 – 9:00, Sat 12:00 – 9:00, Sun 12:00 – 6:00

Round Turn Distilling  is in the same building as Banded Brewing so you can use that as a hint that you’re getting close. There’s always time for a cocktail to break up your beercation.  Man does not live by beer alone (well, maybe he does). Check ’em out but save room for your next stop which is right next door.

Hours: Mon-Thu 4:00 – 9:00, Fri-Sat 2:00 – 10:00, Sun 3:00 – 8:00

Banded Brewing  used to be called Banded Horn Brewing but there was some curfluffle over trade marking or something so they changed the name to just banded but kept their viking horn logo so wink wink. This place has a growing popularity to the point where is can be crowded at time.

Hours: Mon-Thu 4:00 – 9:00, Fri 2:00 – 10:00, Sat 12:00 – 6:00, Sun 12:00 – 6:00

Lucky Pigeon. One of the fun things of visiting tasting rooms is trying figure out how they got their names.  This brewery is gluten free which makes it interesting. If you’ve never had a GF beer, you might want to sample a flight here and then you can tell your friends about your GF adventures. BTW, we do not know what a lucky pigeon is.

Hours: Fri 4:00 – 9:00, Sat 12:00 – 9:00, Sun 12:00 – 6:00

What in the Blazes is Blaze Brewing?  I think this brewery started up in Camden and relocated to Biddeford when another brewery vacated their space and equipment. Whatever the reason is, people love this place.

Hours: Mon 4:00 – 9:00, Th 4:00 – 9:00, Fr – Sat 12:00 10:00, Sun 12:00 – 8:00

Batson River Brewing & Distilling opened a location in the Lincoln Hotel which is a renovated mill and pretty fancy.  Everything Batson touches is gold so this is one you are going to want to visit as part of your Batson River check-off list.  There’s more food here too.

Hours: Mon-Thu 4:00 – 9:00, Fri 4:00 10:00, Sat 2:00 – 10:00, Sun 2:00 – 9:00

The Run of the Mill refers back to the textile mills that were once the principle purposes of these mill buildings powered by the Saco river.  It is a very nice location with a good menu.  You should pair their mussels appetizer with your flight.

Hours: Sun-Sat 11:30 – 10:30

Barreled Souls make some very interesting and unique beers.  This will be the furthest north  you will travel today so be on the lookout for a very cool Dutch Colonial house on the East side of Route 1 when you’re heading to this joint.  The brewery is in the lower level and you enter around the back.

Hours: Wed-Fr 3:00 – 10:00, Sat 12:00 – 10:00, Sun 12:00 – 8:00
