Freeport Brewing Company is located at 130 Breakwater Dr, South Portland, ME, 04106. It was founded in 2000 by home brewers Ken Collings and Mike Olinsky at 46 Durham Rd in Freeport. However, the property was sold in 2011 and the brewery moved to its current location in South Portland.
The brewery is situated within a marina yard near the beautiful Bug Light Park, which is a free, oceanside park with plenty of free parking and lawn for picnics, kite flying, boat launching, or just relaxing and looking back at the Portland skyline. The park is approximately a 5-minute walk from the location. The Greenbelt public trail goes right by the brewery and out to the park.
