Foundation Brewing Company is a pet-friendly brewery located in the Industrial Way brewery incubator in Portland, Maine. They offer a variety of traditional brews as well as some limited, rotating options. The brewery was founded in 2014 and has been brewing a full spectrum of beers since then.

In addition to their brews, they also serve Detroit-style and traditional crust pizzas, including gluten-free options. They describe Detroit-style pizza as having a light, airy crust with a crunchy bottom, a crispy fried “cheese wall” around the edges, and usually served with the sauce on top.

They also introduced a lemonade hard seltzer called Zesty, made with gluten-free ingredients of cane sugar, fruit juice, natural flavor, and pure Maine water. Some of their featured beers include EPIPHANY (New England/Hazy Double IPA, 8%), Josef (Czech-style Pilsner, 4.5%), Favorite Flannel IPA (New England / Hazy IPA, 6.5%), and Fruit punch Jam (Sour ale, 5%).

Geary Brewing Company is a dynamic Portland brewery with an important history in both the craft beer world and the state of Maine. It was incorporated in 1983, making it New England’s first craft brewery in the post-prohibition era. The brewery specializes in English style ales with many contemporary options.
